Home Run Derby Rules
1 minute time limit to hit as many balls as possible before time expires. Balls
will be thrown by a coach, parent or other volunteer of the players choosing.
Only players playing in Swarm Slam Fest may enter the Home Run Derby.
Distance by age group for Home Run Derby:
9U 170 feet, 10U 180 feet, 11U 190 feet, 12U 200 feet, 13U 220 feet
Fees:
20$ entry fee
10$- Players that hit 1 home run in a Friday tournament game
FREE- Players that hit 2 home runs in Friday tournament games
Payment- Cash or VENMO only- pay at check in area.
Home Run is defined by the following: Ball over the outfield fence or a true
in field Home Run with NO errors. Coaches need to sign off on in field home
runs to verify that is was logged correctly without errors.
In the event of a tie:
1st round 10 balls each
2nd round 5 balls each
3rd round first player to hit one over
Prizes: 1st place in all age groups- some age groups may be combined.
Prizes varies by Tournament.
